"Bennie" is a top sport pony prospect! Gorgeous prospect with very nice movement. He is willing and nicely forward. Bennie would be great for a smaller adult who wants to excel in H/J, dressage, or CT but who doesn’t want to put up with back-breakingly large warmblood gaits. He is by the imported stallion *Gun Smoke, who was Ireland’s top scoring Connemara stallion in 1996 performance testing. *Gun Smoke has three superb gaits, is a magnificent jumper, and demonstrates good capability in eventing. His offspring are receiving high marks from their breeders, especially for their jumping talent.

Bennie has a very generous temperament. When taken to be gelded, he loaded with minimal fuss for the very first time, and even stepped right on for the return trip! We received praise from the staff at UF that he was wonderful for them to work with. Pretty good, considering he had never been off the farm before!

Bennie will be a great size for the child moving out of ponies but not yet ready for big horses, or for the small adult who wants the movement and trainability of a horse in a smaller package!
