WRIGADOON SDF ~ 5/24/2003, mature 16.3-17 hh., OldNA, Gelding 
 
"Reg"
is a very sweet gelding who is tall, leggy, and
elegant. He received an 8.2 (premium) on gaits at his approvals at the awkward
age of 5 mos., receiving 7.9 overall. He is a bit on the shy side, but very
easy to work with.
Reg is an
outstanding (FEI) dressage prospect, but also carries excellent jumping
lineage
He
is a very intelligent colt who has wonderfully big, loose
movement, showing a classic Tb uphill canter with a warmblood trot with lots
of push! His great movement is coupled with jumping lines, and when a weanling
he jumped a 4' gate from practically a stand-still (he got separated and
was getting back to Mom). We free-jumped him once over cavaletti and low
jumps, and he showed a very nice aptitude and willingness. His siblings have
great show records:
Quintessence has shown 2nd level dressage, is schooling 3rd, and was
successful over-fences when younger; Wunderbar SDF has a very successful
A-show career in 3' hunters, with plans to move up to 3'6"; and Cordovan
SDF competed in his first hunter show, winning every class O/F!
Sister Capri is just being started herself, but exhibits incredible movement
and FEI potential, too!
Reg
is now in
training, and will be backed soon. He is
already a lot of fun to work with and is VERY smart. I can hardly wait for the
day I enter at "A" and show him off!
